Every plan has usage limits that reset on a rolling five-hour session window; paid plans (Pro, Max, Team, seat-based Enterprise) add weekly limits that reset at a fixed time assigned to the account, and Max plans (and Team premium seats) have a separate weekly limit for Fable. Usage across Claude on web, desktop, mobile, Claude Desktop and Claude Code draws from the same pool. Anthropic publishes no fixed message count: usage depends on conversation length and complexity, attached files, the model, effort level and features used. Anthropic publishes multipliers instead: Pro is at least 5x Free per session, Max is 5x or 20x Pro, Team standard is 1.25x Pro and Team premium is 6.25x Pro. Anthropic may also apply weekly and monthly caps or model/feature limits at its discretion. When a limit is reached, paid users can enable usage credits billed at standard API rates. Usage-based Enterprise seats include no usage allowance; all tokens are billed at API rates.

In the Gemini app, Google meters compute used instead of daily prompts. Usage limits 'factor in the complexity of your prompt, the features you use, and the length of your chat. Your limit refreshes every 5 hours until you reach your weekly limit.' If you hit the cap on the biggest models, you are moved to smaller models. Media generation, Deep Research, the Pro model and Extended thinking/Deep Think use up the limit faster, and so do higher effort levels. Tiers are multiples: Plus is 2x and Pro 4x the 'standard' (no-plan) limit, and Ultra is 5x or 20x Pro. No prompt counts are published. Google Antigravity (app, IDE extensions and CLI) has its own agent quota that 'correlate[s] with the amount of work done by the agent'. Pro and Ultra get a quota refreshed every five hours up to a weekly rate limit; users without Pro or Ultra get a quota refreshed weekly. No figures are published. Pro and Ultra subscribers can buy AI credits for overage in Antigravity and Flow, and the subscriptions page now says credits can also extend Gemini app limits. Since June 18, 2026, Gemini CLI has been replaced by Antigravity CLI for unpaid and Google One users, so the old Gemini CLI daily request counts no longer apply to these plans.
